The batteries are working as advertised. The batteries are strong, my engine's starter is working better and It's nice to have the dual purpose aspect on the cranking battery because I'm powering two live well pumps and an aquarium type bubbler. I did break a screw in post by over tightening but I was able to get the broken post part out and still connect all the needed connections. So far I'm happy.
The battery is very heavy. About 10-15% more than wet lead acid. It works as it should. It did take a few hours to balance themselves as they were connected in series for a 12V RV system.
TWO YEAR Evaluation of the 12v 100ah lifepo4 battery
I use these batteries in my Ryobi RM480e Electric riding mower. Average draw of 40 amps and maximum of 90 amps.
Two year evaluation of my 4 Weize 12v 100ah lifepo4 batteries.
Pretesting each battery separately after resting for 2 days . Voltage was between 14.21 and 14.29 a 0.08v difference.
Then I completely drained each battery at 80 amps load until the bms turned off for low voltage at 10.5v. I reset my TR-16 gauge to zero amp hours. I also tested ternimal temperature with my infrared gun when the voltage was near 11v. The post temperatures were all 125⁰f.
Then recharged at 10 amps with my NOCO genius charger to cut-off voltage of 14.6v. All batteries showed between 104 to 104.7 amp hours on the TR-16 gauge.
Next I connected them parallel for a day. The voltage was 14.22. I then connected the batteries in series like in the mower and completely drained them at a constant 50 amp draw with my 48v inverter. During that time at about 11v the individual battery voltages started to drift apart by 0.19v.
All the interconnecting cables and ternimals were under 115⁰f. After recharging them with a 10amp lifepo4 charger maximum voltage was 58.4 and amp hours was 104. After resting again for 2 hours total voltage was 56.88v with a difference between high and low battery of only 0.04v.
Conclusion: after 2 years these batteries have very little or no degrading of the cells and are still very well matched. I can say they exceed expectations.
I went through alot of extra testing on these Weize 12v 100ah lifepo4 batteries to confirm the condition and quality.
Advice: perform complete discharge and recharge on each battery then parallel connect them for 24 hours at least once a year.
