WEIZE 3600W 48V All-in-One Solar Inverter Charger

The inverter acts as the control center between the solar panels, battery, utility input, and household loads. It manages up to 4500W of PV input, converts 48V battery power into clean 120V AC power, and delivers up to 3600W of continuous output. Its 5400VA peak capability helps with short starting demands, while the typical 10ms transfer supports essential backup operation during grid interruptions.

Instead of using separate devices for solar charging, utility charging, and power conversion, this all-in-one unit combines all three functions. The built-in MPPT controller manages energy from the solar array, the AC charger can recharge the battery from utility power, and the pure sine wave inverter converts stored 48V battery energy into 120V AC power. Fewer separate components help create a cleaner, more organized system.

These three ratings describe different parts of the system. The 5.12kWh battery rating shows how much energy can be stored for later use. The 3600W inverter rating shows how much combined power can be supplied at one time. The 1600W solar rating describes the maximum panel output under ideal conditions. Actual runtime and recharge time depend on appliance usage, sunlight, temperature, battery condition, and normal system losses.

The system can support compatible 120V devices such as refrigerators, WiFi routers, LED lights, TVs, laptops, fans, small appliances, and basic workshop tools. The combined running power of all connected equipment must remain below 3600W, and appliance startup surge must also be considered. A single inverter provides up to 3600W of continuous 120V AC power. Direct 240V output requires multiple compatible inverter units configured as a 120/240V split-phase system.

The eight included 200W panels are designed to be connected in series, creating approximately 144V operating voltage under rated conditions. This reaches the inverter’s 120V startup requirement and falls within its 90–260V MPPT range. The estimated combined open-circuit voltage is about 178.2V, below the 300V maximum input limit. Actual voltage changes with temperature, so final wiring must follow the manual and local installation conditions.

Four charging strategies let you decide how the battery is recharged. Solar Only maximizes solar use, Solar Priority uses utility power only when needed, Utility Priority helps maintain battery charge when sunlight is limited, and Hybrid Charging combines both sources for faster, more reliable charging. Charging modes can be selected through the inverter settings based on sunlight, grid stability, and backup needs.

When utility power is interrupted, the inverter can typically switch to battery power in about 10 milliseconds. This helps compatible devices such as refrigerators, WiFi routers, lights, and computers continue operating with minimal interruption. Actual transfer performance depends on the connected equipment, battery charge level, total load, and system configuration. Some highly sensitive electronics may still restart during the transfer.

RS485/BMS communication allows the inverter to receive important information directly from the battery, including voltage, state of charge, charging limits, and warning status. This helps the inverter manage charging and discharging more accurately. The LCD screen also displays solar input, battery status, output power, load percentage, operating mode, and fault codes. WiFi/GPRS remote monitoring requires an optional monitoring module.

The inverter includes protection against overload, short circuit, battery overvoltage or undervoltage, PV overvoltage, reverse polarity, and excessive temperature. When abnormal conditions are detected, the system may reduce charging or stop output to help prevent further damage. Built-in protection does not replace correctly sized cables, breakers, fuses, grounding, or professional AC-side installation. Install the equipment indoors in a dry, ventilated location.

Parallel units require consistent cable specifications, correct communication wiring, suitable protection devices, and adequate ventilation.

The complete kit combines one 3600W inverter charger, one 51.2V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery, eight 200W solar panels, and matched system accessories. Each component is selected to operate as part of the same 48V system, reducing compatibility concerns for first-time users. The included battery stores 5.12kWh of energy.
