Sealed Battery&Safe Charging
This 200AH 12V AGM Deep Cycle Battery is perfect for applications that require either frequent cycling or renewable power storage. SLA batteries have a low self-discharge rate - about 40% per year or 3.3% per month. These batteries are able to be stored without charging for up to 5-6 months when at full capacity, but doing so is not recommended. At least every 2-3 months you should top charge them. In order to prolong their shelf life, SLA batteries should be stored and maintained properly.

Connecting batteries
NOTE: The maximum number that can be connected in series is 4. In parallel, there are no limitations.
IN SERIES
By connecting the batteries in series you are doubling the voltage and maintaining the same capacity (amp hours). Connect the positive terminal of the first battery to the negative terminal of the second one. From the two free terminals connect the positive to the power lead on your device, and the negative to the ground connection of your application.
PARALLEL
By connecting the batteries in parallel you are doubling the capacity (amp hours) and maintaining the same voltage. Connect the positive terminal of the second battery to the positive terminal of the first battery. Do the same with the negative terminals. Connect your application to the positive and negative terminals of the first battery.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU BUY
In order to find the best replacement for your original battery you need to compare the physical dimensions, Volts, and Amp power of your original model to our battery. Besides physical dimensions, you also need to check battery terminals, which are the metal connectors on top of the battery. To determine what terminal your battery has, you will need to look at their form and determine if they have a flat connector, nut, and bolt, or wires, and then measure their sizes.

This battery was recommended for campers on a budget. So far no problems with it being defective on delivery. I use a smart charger that automatically stops charging when it detects my battery is full. Only time will tell how many years it will last. Ive read you should never let it get below 50% capacity or else risk shortening its lifespan. Im happy with this purchase.
A powerful battery
I use it for solar battery source. Works great to keep equipment up all night long.
I just pulled this battery off to ensure it had enough charge and didn't die randomly. Note: The instructions say to not let it go below 50% before re-charging, but who is going to know that if you're using it for our purposes? Anyway, after 2 1/2 months, we still had a 40-50% charge! We use our gate many times a day, have a VERY small solar panel connected, and we probably only get direct sunlight 15-20% of the day because of tree coverage. In my book, that's impressive! Since I never tested the charge when I received it and based on how well it's supported our dual arm gate, I'm likely going to let it run until it dies next time to see how much life I can get out of it. BTW, it's currently on sale for $150!!! I paid 180-something. Buy this battery! It's awesome!
